'Our Space’ aims to build a complete picture of the school community: from past pupils, to delivery drivers, from governors to belly dancers! Images and measurements will be collected using a specially constructed photo booth, the ‘Our Space’ card or this website.

Sculptor Will Nash and photographer Anthony Carr, will then turn this information into new artworks, one of which will be installed in the school grounds in March.

Progress will be regularly updated here, and at Will's online sketchbook

Further School Links

The DT and Art departments continue their close involvement with the project with Year 11 applied art and Year 10 DT completing a professional brief over the next two terms.

This will focus on one aspect of the actual artist’s brief – DT looking at Sustainable Design and Art the involvement of community and what that means for the school. Their work is being supported by Community Arts with visits from the artist and the department acting as a client. Their work may be exhibited during the March exhibition, when the final sculpture is unveiled. Thanks to Mr.Pavey and Ms. Dominy for all their work so far.
